My style is relaxed and natural, capturing your family exactly as you are. I’ll give you gentle direction, but I avoid stiff posing and “say cheese” moments. From there, we’ll plan outfits, props, and the ideal location, and create a shared vision board to bring it all to life.
On shoot day, everything feels intentional but never forced. I’ll gently guide you while leaving space for natural moments, connection, and personality to shine through. The result is a set of images that feel timeless, cohesive, and deeply personal, photographs that reflect who you are as a family, right now.

Fresh 48
The Fresh 48 Shoot captures the very beginning — those quiet, fleeting moments in the first two days of your baby’s life.
I’ll be on standby around your due date, ready to photograph your newborn within 48 hours of birth, either in hospital or in the comfort of your own home. These sessions are slow, relaxed, and completely baby-led, focusing on the tiny details and tender connections you’ll want to remember forever — wrinkly hands, soft yawns, first feeds, and the way your baby fits so perfectly in your arms.
There’s no posing, no pressure, and no expectations. Just honest, heartfelt images of your family in those first precious hours, exactly as they are.
Fresh 48 sessions are ideal for parents who want natural, documentary-style photographs that tell the story of their baby’s first moments in the world.

FAQ
How far in advance should we book?
This depends on the type of session you’re looking for and the days you’re available. I have both weekday availability and a limited number of weekend sessions each month. As weekends tend to book up quickly, I recommend getting in touch as early as possible to secure your preferred date.
How does booking work?
Booking your session is simple and can be done directly through my online booking links, no back-and-forth emails required.
Choose your preferred date using the booking link. During the booking process, you’ll receive and sign your contract to secure your session. Once your booking is confirmed, I’ll be in touch to send over your invoice based on the shoot type and location.
A 50% deposit is required to secure your date, with the remaining 50% due two days before your session.
I’ll also contact you two days before the shoot to finalise the time and exact meet-up spot, so everything runs smoothly on the day.
What if I don't want my kids to be featured on social media?
I understand that every family has different comfort levels when it comes to sharing images of their children online. That’s why my contract includes clear, flexible options allowing you to choose how (or if) your images are used.
You can opt in to:
Full image use (including children)
Image use showing parents only
No consent for social media or marketing use
There is never any obligation to agree to image sharing, and your decision is always respected. As a parent myself, I know how important this choice is, and your family’s privacy will always come first.

Which areas do you cover?
I’m happy to travel wherever you’d like for your family shoot. My session pricing includes up to 20 minutes of travel from Cumbernauld town centre. For locations beyond this, additional travel is charged at standard AA mileage rates, along with a small time fee.
